Helping you sleep well for piece of mind in my book.

Comment on How Much It Costs to be Type 1 Diabetic in the US (with Insurance!) by Grayson Bell https://wealthbytes.co/type-1-diabetes-cost-united-states/#comment-661881 https://wealthbytes.co/?p=19868#comment-661881 In reply to Bobby.

I agree. The big issue is our patent system allows these companies to continually extend their patents to make it much harder for any new entrants into making synthetic insulin. Walmart was able to do it, but they needed really deep pockets as it’s just an expensive game to get into.

It shouldn’t take so much money for you to get the medicine you need to survive. It price gouging plain and simple. I don’t know why big pharma has too drive up the cost of the most common medicine people have to have.

Comment on I Hate Tipping and Here’s Why! by Anne https://wealthbytes.co/i-hate-tipping/#comment-643387 https://wealthbytes.co/?p=10821#comment-643387 Agreed!! I am completely frustrated with being expected to tip at a restaurant that has Table Service- Cashier takes order, Server drops order, YOU are expected to get your own flatware, beverage and bus your table (noted with a decorative sign on the table) but we’re supposed to tip.

Comment on What is the Coinstar Fee and How to Find a Machine Near You by Ana https://wealthbytes.co/avoid-coinstar-processing-fee/#comment-643386 https://wealthbytes.co/?p=9793#comment-643386 Great article and commentary, learned many new things I was not aware of! Have large jars of coins and about to go use Coinstar for 1st time. One idea I got from reading all this and I offer this as a suggestion, put in only the minimum amount of 5$ first and choose gift card option as a test to make sure gift cards are available on the machine used before putting in hundreds of dollars of coins and being forced to pay 12% fee if the machine won’t offer you a gift card at the end. Anyway, thank you for all this amazing information! (I had no idea about credit unions or casinos, etc. offering coin machines)

Comment on What is the Coinstar Fee and How to Find a Machine Near You by Lynne https://wealthbytes.co/avoid-coinstar-processing-fee/#comment-643385 https://wealthbytes.co/?p=9793#comment-643385 Great info. This year we had a christmas jar. We knew this year would be super tight (husband became disabled right after we bought our house 🙁 and i didnt want christmas to hit and have NOTHING so we filled a jar full throughout the year. I probably have about 100 to spend on 4 kids but at least its something right? So we drive an hour from our small town home to the nearest coinstar thinking will cash it and get our shopping done on black friday only to find the kiosk broken 🙁 i just need a way to cash these out so i can get my kids something! This week go an hour in the opposite direction but i have no intention of wanting to give them a percentage for my money….makes sense to use a gift card! Thanks for the info!

Comment on My Argument For Married Couples Keeping Separate Finances by Investor https://wealthbytes.co/marriage-separate-finances-argument/#comment-643383 https://wealthbytes.co/?p=7673#comment-643383 I am being called a Jew by my friends becuase I like saving money and I said I would not want to have shared wealth. I do not understand why that is ever useful for a man who earn higher and save more. Having shared money is only usefull for those who earn less and spend more. And those who earn less and spend more – like to call those who save greedy Jews. And most often those are woman 🙁
And I believe its super rare that if woman earns more or has more wealth, that she would just give it to her husband for free, she most likely then fuck his mind what a loser he is that she earns more.

I have no idea how I will find a wife who agrees on me not only about money but also who I could trust that she does not fuck with other man and who does not fuck my mind if I will play computer games or something like that.

Comment on Good News Capital One 360 Members, You Can Deposit Cash! by banklala https://wealthbytes.co/good-news-capital-one-360-members-can-deposit-cash/#comment-643366 https://wealthbytes.co/?p=9430#comment-643366 I use Ally and I have 2 workarounds for cash. I opened an American Express Bluebird account and opted for the free checks (don’t know if they are still free), I deposit cash at a walmart for free, write out the bluebird check – you have to put an authorization on the check and it comes right out of your account and then you mobile deposit that to Ally.

Option 2 is I get a money order and mail it to the bank.

the reason I did not go with Cap 1 is because it does not look like you can mail in money order and there is no AT< according to their listing that takes cash –even though they have a cap 1 bank in my city. Go figure!
